A former Italian Karate National team member, Luca has a wide experience in working with professional sports associations as a Physiotherapist as well as an adviser to sports trainers. Over the last decade he has treated working individuals as well as runners, football players, tennis players, rugby players, canoeists, and people doing yoga, Pilates and karate. Besides being a Physio he also teaches Tai chi.

Luca completed an honours degree in Physiotherapy in Italy in 2010. He worked in two of the most reputed private clinics in Trieste treating a wide range of patients and leading the Physiotherapy team as a Director.
In 2015 he relocated to Edinburgh where he has worked with a number of health clinics. Always aiming at delivering clinical excellence, he strives to offering comprehensive and new services to help as many patients as possible.
Luca’s Physiotherapy Philosophy
Luca is a Physiotherapist with an extensive experience in Musculoskeletal and Sports injuries. He devotes a great attention to the assessment phase and approaching the patient’s condition in a holistic way in order to progress them to a full recovery.
To relieve pain and to restore the balance of the musculoskeletal system he integrates joint mobilisation techniques, spinal manipulation, instrument assisted soft tissue release, medical acupuncture, kinesiology taping and strengthening and conditioning exercises programmes.
